Lizzy Riley, REINZ CEO, noted, "Most vendor expectations were realistic, influenced by current market stability. However, some stood firm with higher price expectations. Attendance at open homes was strong in January, following built-up demand towards the end of 2025, with even properties that had been on the market for a while attracting interest."
